After 22 hours of continuous work White Helmets teams finish their search and rescue operations in Sarmada city

After 22 hours of continuous work, the Syrian Civil Defense teams completed search and rescue operations, for missing persons and survivors, following the huge explosion that shook the old Bab Al Hawa Square, in the city of Sarmada, in the early morning hours of Sunday, 2018/08/12.

The collapse of two buildings buried approximately 60-70 civilian inhabitants, mostly  displaced families from their cities of Homs, Aleppo and other areas. 17 people were rescued alive from the rubble of their homes. 67 people were killed.
